Generation Schools opened its second campus in Hermanus, South Africa, in January 2017. Our vision is to provide an environment where children can develop the habits, skills, and attitudes needed for a lifetime of creative thinking and learning through our Cambridge Curriculum and Montessori approach. We welcome all children aged 18 months to Exit, providing them with an opportunity to grow in a vibrant, innovative and engaged school environment. Our goal is to ensure that every student reaches their full potential as part of our Generation Schools family. Nikki Malcomess
Head of Hermanus
Nikki Malcomess is the Head of Hermanus and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, a Post Graduate Diploma in Advertising and Marketing, as well as a Bachelor of Arts. Currently pursuing her Master’s in Education through Bath University, United Kingdom, Nikki is an avid educator with experience teaching international schools across London, Hong Kong, and Mauritius.
Nikki has come to embrace the Montessori system within the Cambridge Curriculum that encourages students to inquire and be curious about knowledge acquisition. Furthermore, she is passionate about serving her community by providing opportunities for development to create powerful pathways for individual choice for her students. As part of Generation Schools in Hermanus – which she loves – Nikki works tirelessly to ensure the success of her students.
Nikki’s mission is to provide a well-rounded education for the whole child that supports growth and exploration in her Hermanus community. It is this dedication to student advancement that makes Nikki Malcomess such an asset.
