What is GenEx?
GenEx is an accredited Cambridge Associate and a professional development centre, able to provide schools and colleges with the opportunity to become Cambridge International schools, forming part of a global network providing high-quality teaching and learning.
GenEx is in partnership with Generation Schools, South Africa.
GenEx aims to extend educational opportunities to schools across Africa by supporting the growth of Cambridge programmes and qualifications and managing the relationship between Cambridge International and these, alleviating pressure and making it more accessible.
How to become a Cambridge International school through GenEx:
Step 1:
Express interest
Contact GenEx by emailing us at cambridge@generationschools.co.za and express interest.
Step 2:
Application Form
You will receive an application form to complete and submit. GenEx will review your application form and make contact.
Step 3:
Approval visit
GenEx will arrange a time that is convenient to carry out an approval visit.
Step 4:
Approval
Once all requirements are met, schools will be registered as a Cambridge International School and a GenEx associate centre.

Why become a GenEx associate school?
All schools offering Cambridge qualifications must demonstrate their eligibility to do so by successfully registering with Cambridge International, often a daunting process. GenEx provides the link between Cambridge International and individual schools and colleges (or associate centres), making the process quicker and easier.
